When choosing BODY BEYOND THERAPEUTIC INC, you want to be sure you are choosing one that you can fully trust to answer all of your questions and concerns. We offer you easy-to-understand guides on some of the most common inquiries we receive from our patients. Check it out below!

Q : Can you direct bill this massage under my child or partner's unused insurance benefits?

A : NO, Regardless of the reasons, you cannot put through claims for treatments that you did not perform. Receipts need to be issued in the patient's name. Making claim under someone else's coverage, even if they are on same insurance plane as you, is FRAUD. The act of Insurance fraud means that your RMT could lose their license so we will strictly adhere to these policies and rule.

              Insurance Fraud includes........

                      - using a family member's unused massage therapy benefits (i.e. using their name on your official MT receipt)

                      - submitting claims for service that are not part of massage therapist's scope of practice (e.g. acupuncture, osteopathic manual treatment etc.)

                     - Submitting a claim for massage therapy treatment that was not received.

                     - submitting a late fee or a cancellation fee for reimbursement under plan.

                     - using a massage therapist's professional identification number without their knowledge.

Q : Buy certificate, but want receipt to say I purchased a massage , not a gift certificate, that way can claim it on patient's insurance?

A: Insurance coverage does not cover gift card purchases. Receipts are required to accurately reflect what was purchased ( gift card or gift certificate)
